Ginny and her husband have learned firsthand how important research is to proper diagnosis and early detection for autism.

When their son, Zachary, was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at 2 years old, it became a priority of theirs to learn as much as they could. Through their research, they discovered the Marcus Autism Center Infant Sibling Study, where their second child, Eliza, participated in and recorded her first audio recording at one month old. Throughout her first two years of life, Eliza continued to work with the Marcus Autism Center to improve her confidence and communication skills, while her parents also learned strategies to support both of their children’s development.

Fast forward to today, they are so grateful for all the support and information the Marcus Autism Center has provided. They have been able to see how vital early detection can be for adapting as a family from the beginning. Together, they've learned how to best support their children in helping them grow to be the best version of themselves.
