Clayton lives life to the fullest, Despite being born with kidney failure
Despite being born with kidney failure, Clayton lives life to the fullest—playing every kind of sport, from soccer and swimming to baseball and basketball, and becoming a talented piano and tuba player. When he was in the 6th grade, his kidney function began to decline rapidly, to the point he needed a kidney transplant. His match? None other than his dear dad.
Nearly three years later, Clayton is healthy and strong thanks to the lifesaving organ donated by his own dad, Matt. Clayton celebrates his “kidneyversary” each year by donating snacks to the transplant floor at Egleston.
