When Brandon was diagnosed with a hip condition called femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), he was told he would have to hang up his football gear—for good. At one point, his condition was so painful he couldn’t even walk. Not ready to give up on his dream of being a collegiate football kicker, Brandon and his family turned to the only place his complicated surgery could be performed: Children’s.

Not only did Brandon’s A-team—his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Willimon, and sports physical therapist, Allen—eliminate Brandon’s hip pain, they kept his dream alive by getting him back on the football field.
