Noey was rushed to her pediatrician in north Georgia for lab work after fainting at breakfast. The next morning, her family received a call that changed everything—Noey was being sent to the emergency room at Children’s because her blood work showed signs of leukemia.

Noey was admitted to the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center after additional lab work confirmed that she had B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Following a port surgery and several bone marrow aspirations, Noey stayed at Children's for three weeks for tests and treatments. She was discharged just in time to celebrate her sixth birthday at home with her family.

Today, Noey still travels to and from Atlanta for chemotherapy treatments at Children's, but watching the Atlanta Braves helps keep her motivated. She hopes to attend a game soon!
