Reagan is just like any other two-year-old. She’s full of energy and loves to play with her puppy. What you wouldn't know is that just one week after she was born, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a condition where the hip socket doesn’t fully cover the ball portion of the upper thigh bone.

When Reagan's mother noticed she was having hip issues, she turned to Children's for care. Dr. Tim Schrader, an orthopedic surgeon at Children's, put Reagan in a Pavlik harness for two weeks, but after not seeing any improvement in her hips, decided to perform a closed reduction hip surgery.

Post surgery, Reagan still sees Dr. Schrader for check-ups and after her last visit, dressed up as the doctor who helped her get to where she is now: Dr. Schrader.
