10 years ago, Charlie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease in which his pancreas stopped producing insulin. T1D requires nonstop carbohydrate counting, blood sugar testing and lifelong dependence on insulin. Since his diagnosis, Charlie and his family have learned how to manage the disease so Charlie can enjoy just being a kid—which includes bike riding, spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite team, Georgia Football!

Tonight, Charlie is hoping that the Dawgs bring home a victory at tonight’s #NationalChampionship game.
